The survey was managed by a team from the Education Department; Health and Social Services Department and the Home Department.

The Schools Health Education Unit
The Schools Health Education Unit assisted the project by:
➢ Administering the survey on behalf of the Project Team
➢ Advising on the design and analysis of the research
➢ Ensuring objectivity and statistical robustness
➢ Providing comparable data to benchmark the Guernsey finding with other jurisdictions
The Schools Health Education Unit has assisted the Health and Education Departments in previous surveys. It is a recognised leader in the production of lifestyle surveys, research and publications.
The Unit publishes an annual review of the attitudes and behaviour of young people – the most recent, young people into 2007, was published in July.
